Best Sports Bars at FSU for the Mayweather v. McGregor Fight
Although it’s not guaranteed that all these bars listed will house the fight, you can always call ahead at least a week before the event and they will confirm the viewing.
Buffalo Wild Wings
You could try the typical Buffalo Wild Wings sports bar setting. This is personally one of my favorite places to go for sporting events with my friends and family. If you go early enough, you can avoid the long lines. Just eat slow and drink slow. Split some appetizers with friends while you wait, watch the various of sporting events that are showing beforehand, and when the time comes for the event itself, the atmosphere of all the excited people can’t be beat!

Momo’s Pizza
Although I am not sure if they will host the fight itself, Momo’s is one of the best and cheaper places to view sporting events. Located right across from Florida State University’s campus, it is easy to get to for us college students. They are famously known for the large pizza slices and happy hour beer deals.
Address: 1416 W Tennessee St
Hooter’s
Of course everyone has heard of Hooter’s. Known for their waitresses and their wings, this place is sure to have the fight on August 26. They are usually one of the better place’s equipped for hosting larger parties and with televisions everywhere, I am sure you will get a view of the fight. It’s not even that far from campus! Just head down Monroe and you’ll see the owl.

Prime Time Lounge and Restaurant
The very first time I came to Tallahassee, my best friend insisted on heading out to Prime Time, located on West Tennessee Street. It has a million and one televisions lined up right next to each other, a huge patio for nice sunny days and even a huge bar that houses all the beers and liquor you desire! Although a little pricier, for larger groups you could easily split on appetizers and try to catch the happy hour specials for drinks at this awesome sports bar.

Beef ‘O’ Brady’s
We have about three of this sports bar chain restaurant in Tallahassee. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with this chain for a major event such as the fight. Beef ‘O’ Brady’s will almost for sure house a viewing for the Mayweather v. McGregor fight. Just like all sports bars, they’ll tell you their wings are the best and I have to admit – their wing sauce is outstanding and at a price you just can’t beat!
Address 1: 1800 Thomasville Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303
Address 2: 1208 Capital Cir SE, Tallahassee, FL 32301
Address 3: 2910 Kerry Forest Parkway, #A-7, Tallahassee, FL 32309
Bj’s
Bj’s is located on Apalachee Parkway and although not ultimately viewed as a sports bar restaurant, is a huge chain and probably would house the event if the demand for it is thought to be profitable. Around dinner time, the wait on a normal day for the Bj’s in Tallahassee is about an hour and a half wait if you arrive during prime diner time, which is around 7 O’clock. They have a “textbook” size of a menu so there is sure to be something for everyone in your viewing group to munch on. The meal prices are also a little bit on the pricier side, however, they have awesome happy hour deals from 3 O’clock to 7 O’clock and then they start up again from 10 O’clock to closing.
Address: 1749 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL 32301
Again, please remember these are just the most popular sports bars that, in my opinion, are most likely to host a viewing for the Mayweather v. McGregor fight that is set for August 26th! Call ahead and ask to confirm that they are hosting a viewing and remember to drink responsibly and to not drive under the influence! Friendly reminder that Uber is very popular in the Tallahassee area and also not very expensive.
